Part of the Fleet Operations team responsible for the planning, design, construction and utilization management of
the BCAS vehicle fleet.


Responsibilities:
 Manage fleet safety and compliance by responding to internal safety reports and ensuring that safety and
performance issues for fleet vehicles are addressed.
 Develop vehicle design criteria and direct the conceptual design for each new or modified fleet vehicle type.
 Develop and maintain BCEHS Ambulance Performance and Testing Standard based on national and
international best practices, engineering standards, and current vehicle safety research.
 Prepare RFPs/ITQs and lead the tendering process for the annual procurement of vehicles and
equipment.
